Being in U.S.A

With the roaring noise of engine, we left for the paradise of vacation.

This is the first trip aboard, first time on an airplane.

I’ve got too many things to say.

Living in host family was really  fun and meaningful. We could touch the true life which Americans live. They were very enthusiastic. We made friends with them. My host family got a table for table tennis, and we just called up their friends and played in garage.

There were students called volunteers who spent time with us during our stay in Hawaii. We learned to dance together, learned to play ukulele together, took class together and play together. We found that we had many same interests, same favorite music. We shared our culture and custom. You should know that classes there are very interesting. You may not think it’s class at school but just play. For example, we learned grammar by listening to songs. Our teacher played a song and we needed to fill in the blank in lyrics. This is a good way to learn words and grammars .Classes are never bored for us.

I love that Sunday on the beach most. The water in the ocean was really clean. I got my eyes filled with blue color. What’s more, we went to the Pearl Harbor for three days and we stayed on the Missouri Battle Ship at night. Launching little rockets and fly on a simulator were also of great interests.

Another different thing that I found was: if you stand on the side of a pavement and ready to cross the road, any drivers will stop their cars to wait until you get to the other side. They set a good example for us.

We have a party in the evening before we left Hawaii for the main land. I sang a song but I think it is not enough. The party should never end!

The trip in the main land was fun too. We saw Golden Gate Bridge and the Flower Street (A street which is very steep that cars must take sharp turns to get to the bottom of the street.) in San Francisco. We had fun in San Diego Sea World Adventure Park and Disneyland. There was Shamu show in the Sea World. On the trip in Stanford University, I think it’s really a good place for study. The environment around the Stanford was so brilliant.

Ah, so many fun that I can’t get them all together. It’s a trip which we improved our spoken English and other skills.
